COMIC BOOK REVIEW - Worlds' Finest: Hunt Or Be Hunted

The last time I read about Power Girl and Huntress, they were getting used to the fact that they were now on a different Earth than the one they grew up on. With very little hope or knowledge of how to make it back, they’re both trying their hardest to make their time on Earth-Prime count!

‘Hunt or Be Hunted’ once again, gives us a number of different stories, with an interconnecting strand that ties them all together. As Helena gets to meet Damian Wayne, her brother of sorts, she tells him her story which lets her feel a little freer. Kara, on the other hand, is too busy being a rich celebrity, whilst also trying to acquire any knowledge of how to get back. Eventually, the two of them, find themselves going against an enemy who knows where they’re from.

I have to say that in one way, this is the like Superman/Batman family team-up that no-one really knew existed. At the same time, I found this novel a tad bit boring and it didn’t really build on what it had before. There was little, in terms of character development, as well.

The artwork was the one thing in this novel that I really didn’t like. Barring, one issue, the rest of the artwork was really not my style. This was also highlighted in the covers, which were average. Overall, this was a step down for me from the first novel!

Favourite Panel:

I cannot wait for her to meet the Batman of this Earth. He’d appreciate her techniques!

Favourite Character:

Helena. The more I read of this series, the more I find myself disliking Kara.
